Journey

Ssendi Mosh Afrikan, professionally known as Mr. Mosh, stands as a formidable figure in Uganda's media and music landscape. Emerging from Seeta, Mukono District, he carved a niche by merging dancehall with Afrobeat inflections, including genge and kwaito influences. Educated in journalism at Cavendish University Kampala, Mr. Mosh's initial foray into the public eye was marked by hosting campus events and collaborating on the hit "Ndi ku Diggi" with Ngoni, propelling him into the regional music limelight. Gaining further prominence through his stints at WBS TV, Urban TV, and Galaxy FM, where he won the Teeniez Best Radio Personality award consecutively for three years, he cultivated a reputation as a dynamic voice in the Ugandan entertainment sector. His transition in 2020 from mainstream media to founding Zenji Talent School underscores his dedication to nurturing young Ugandan talent in arts and digital media. Balancing his artistic endeavors with civic responsibilities, Mr. Mosh was elected as a Lord Councilor for Makindye East III in 2021, demonstrating a commitment to enhancing both cultural expression and community leadership in Uganda.
